Ahhh... Christmas time. That magical time of year your whole family gets to remind you how much they REALLY liked that ex-girlfriend of yours. Yes family, me too. You already reminded me at Thanksgiving.

This shit is starting to make me not want to come home.

this christmas i am thankful for all of the EXTREMELY thoughtful gifts everyone gave me - proof that it really is the thought that matters....or i am just very easy to please. (probably a bit of both)

but seriously my mom gave me a book i had been interested in about christian the lion (see video below), my dad MADE me a mirror from some of my grandpa's old harness equipment for my pony teddy, and my grandma gave me two jars of homemade strawberry jam. really guys? it was the best christmas ever.

also for the past month and a half i have developed a borderline obsession with gogol bordello - and tonight my 14 year old sister proclaimed to me that she really likes them.

this is a christmas miracle!

i have secretly always been a bit bummed that my sister and i did not share many interests - we are already a decade apart in age and i just can't seem to convince her that i am actually, maybe, a little bit cool. but i think this is my time to shine because not only do we now have gogol bordello (which is totally out of character for her), she totally flipped her shit over the shoes i got her for christmas. tally up my high school cool points yo! i am gunning for sister of the year!

merry christmas everyone! watch this video - it makes me so happy and it will probably make you happy too.

07:13 pm - Merry Christmas!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas!

Unfortunately I had to close at work on Christmas Eve (which is when my side of the family celebrates) so I was bummed that we missed it. But when I arrived home, Jimmy and I snuggled up by the fireplace with hot chocolate and watched a Charlie Brown Christmas. Today we went out to dinner with his grandparents. Everyone is out of town (Parents are in Arkansas with Jhen, Jon and newborn baby Joss, Jax in Australia with BJ and his family). So we are celebrating our Christmas when everyone will be home, which is the 30th. Jimmy and I are picking up Jax from the airport on the 28th and parents should be home on the 30th. We’ve saved our presents and can’t wait to spend “2nd Christmas” with 3/4 of the family!

A real post will be coming soon soon soon. but until then, Happy Christmas everyone!

and Happy Birthday, Jesus!
